When we share our deeply held Love of God with our children, we open a conversation and we provide a path to explore God’s Love for us.

Bedtime prayer was the catalyst for many deep discussions when I was raising my three boys. We would pray about everyday things like an upcoming test, or help to play well in the upcoming football game or volleyball tournament. And we would pray about very difficult things like a dearly loved Aunt with cancer. Prayer about current events like war or terrorism led to heartfelt discussions. When we pray with a child, we share the peace that comes from talking with God about all of life’s challenges and joys. Tucking our children in with a Goodnight Prayer is like giving them a hug from God each night. Then God’s peace and hope and unconditional love, which we know deep within, might be kindled in our children’s hearts as well. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Goodnight-Prayer-Children-s-Picture-Book-Beautiful-Gift-for-Sharing-Faith-SALE/283796009912
